This is just beautiful. I can easily imagine Sanzo doing this. As long as Kougaiji repays his debt of honor, he won't hurt their chances to succeed in the end, and he'll save the monkey. And he's able to do it in true Genjyo Sanzo style, without hearts or flowers or sentiment, just grim practicality and power. If that's not love -- Sanzo-style -- I don't know what is. *applauds*
