Waah, very sweet, in the end, makes up for the hell you put them through. And I really admire the way you work in history - I don't really know the true history well enough to tell if it's accurate at all, but it feels right to me, like a convincing alternate history. And true to the Gintama!verse as well, especially Gintoki's motivations throughout.
